A great opportunity has become available in our People & Talent team for a Retail People Officer to join the AS family. We’re on the lookout for someone with experience in HR (ideally gained within the retail, leisure, or hospitality industry), who has a real hands-on management style and the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver results.

A bit about the role…

* Recruit, develop, manage and engage the CSM’s in projects
* Support the People Partner with the fulfilment of the Retail People Strategy
* Act as the first point of contact in the Peninsula relationship
* Provide monthly commentary on activity that can drive and support change
* Understand the challenges across the regions and how these are being managed by the stores, supporting where required
* Develop and maintain great relationships within the Retail structure
* Support the Retail People Strategy through engagement and communication
* Deliver a great customer experience, taking feedback and seeking to improve
* Share customer feedback with the team to inform wider commercial business decisions

We’re looking for someone who has:

* Previous experience in an HR role
* A natural flair for leading by example, inspiring colleagues to do their best
* Excellent communication skills, able to build effective relationships at all levels
* Strong commercial awareness and exceptional attention to detail
* A ‘make it happen’ approach and enjoys a fast pace and dynamic environment
* Genuine care for what they do and how well they do it
* An affinity with our brand and is an authentic ambassador of our people values
