We need an experienced training and operational manager who can provide comprehensive logistics operational support, through inductions, training and peak management support. There are two parts to this role during our busy periods 1st October to 28th February (PEAK) and during our quieter periods 1st March to 30th September (OFF-PEAK)

What will I be doing….

OFF-PEAK – Training & compliance

* Ensure a great college experience to all new logistics operatives through induction & onboarding,
* the training program, PPE, H&S & compliance.
* Develop and manage the overall logistics training program, an operative skill matrix across logistics, new training initiatives, systems upgrade rollouts and training records.
* Manage Health & safety records & compliances, daily checklists, employee records & inductions and logistics-related risks assessments.
* Ensure a great internal/external customer experience by managing all retail, customer services, 3rd party and internal orders management queries through the logistics helpdesk.

IN PEAK – Peak Support Management

* The guarantee that we are ready for peak by ensuring that we are recruited, all training is complete, systems are ready and Health & safety is adhered to
* Ensure the peak management team is fully supported by covering for additional peak shift management, support with daily plan/stand-ups and enabling the team.
* Manage Health & safety records & compliances, daily checklists, employee records & inductions and logistics-related risks assessments.

* 3+ years experience in a Logistics, Distribution and/or Supply Chain background
* A good understanding of current H&S requirements with experience in training, onboarding and inductions.
* Be open to Continuous Improvement and Change Management ideas in an ever-changing business unit.
* Have a proven track record in people management, people development and training management with tangible examples.
