Senior Content Marketing Executive

Summary of Key Activities:

* Assist with and enable all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and revenue, delivering to business and marketing objectives.
* Integration of content programs with brand campaigns and product launches to drive brand to demand.
* Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver against an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business and marketing objectives in the most efficient way.
* Maintaining the editorial calendar and develop organisation workflows and processes to create efficiencies in delivery and communication of content objectives.
* Maintaining relationships with agencies and managing their output, ensuring projects progress and meet deadlines.
* Liaising with internal resources to obtain and deliver content and/or product to external agencies so they can fulfil their brief.
* Assisting with the development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
* Arranging, attending and coordinating both internal and external meetings to accommodate content initiatives and optimised provision of assets.
* Building and developing the reporting process, evolving the optimisation of content and measuring the performance in response to learning and insights.
* Assisting with the development of persona mapping and applying the principles to content production and distribution.
* Channel content provision and support for email / newsletter distribution.
* Presenting on the program approaches and results in the Senior Content Marketing Manager’s absence.
* Line manager responsibilities for our Product Copywriter and ensuring their output is of a high standard, fulfilling the brief and following brand style and values.
* Responding to PR and Press requirements, for example, providing product and copy to support press initiatives.

Wish List:

* Hands on experience in producing content for all channels and growing an audience/driving conversion.

Experience and Skills Required:

* At least 3 years experience in delivering optimised content for a brand.
* Thorough understanding and knowledge of SEO and its role in content optimisation.
* Knowledge and experience in delivering all forms of content, in order of priority: copy; images; video, as well as other asset types.
* Experience in the application of a content marketing strategy and the principles that make it effective.
* Knowledge of how to apply ToV and Brand Style to create a consistent customer content journey and increase brand recognition and awareness.
* Understanding the best practices of the main social media channels as well as which content and approaches work on each and why.
* A brand publisher mindset: to generate the content our audience is looking for and then to optimise the content and customer journey.
* SEO understanding, content categorisation and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
* Understanding of how PR and Press activity supports the effectiveness of content, its reach and its role in organic search.
* Knowledge of SEO Tech (on site and off site) and its effect on SEO Content
* Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create content for that audience.
* Experience with Google Anlaytics
* Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment with focus on the delivery of results.
