Interim Change and Communications Programme Lead

Ann Summers are in the throes of the S&M programme, replacing our core enterprise Oracle system and EPOs software with Microsoft Nav and LS Retail Epos. This will enable us to dramatically improve how we buy, merchandise, move, sell and build relationships with our customers. In addition to the core systems replacement, we are upgrading other systems too, e.g. CRM, Call Centre, etc.

What the role will do:

This role will suit an HR Manager from a Retail background with experience in structural change resulting from a systems implementation and new ways of working. This role will also be the People & Talent representative on the Programme.

This role is a leadership role, leading all those undergoing change (senior managers, managers, impacted team members) to the new ways of working, whether structures, skills or systems training

This S&M Programme will impact how our People work, to varying degrees. This role will take charge of the impact on teams and people:

It will ensure that the People impacts of the S&M Programme are clearly understood and implemented within the confines of the S&M Programme and aligned with the HO People Partner, accountable for all HO People Change.

Changes to roles are clear, defined and what it will mean for the people and their manager(s) is understood and communicated. This includes change to roles, accountabilities, KPI’s, technical skills and non-systems and systems training: In collaboration with the HO People Partner.

The communication of the Programme, company-wide and local comms as appropriate, taking into account the impact on the function

To work with the S&M Systems Training Lead to incorporate the Training needs into the Change journey / People Plan

To work with Service Introduction, lead on how the business will be supported by the Product Owners and Super Users before, during and after go live.

Line manage (in a matrix with the Product Owner’s functional manager / director), Product Owners whilst they are on the Programme. Supporting them with what it is like to work on a Programme, and be a PO (Subject Matter Expert).

The role will work closely with the Head Office and Channels People Partners (HR Teams).

Experience / Qualifications
All candidates MUST have:
* Practical knowledge and broad experience of retail
* Practical knowledge of and experience of change driven by process and systems change
* Practical knowledge of designing and delivering tailored communications and communications events
* Line management of people in a change programme

Job purpose:
This role has four parts: 1. To deliver all S&M Programme People change through to completion as part of an overall HO change plan – working with the accountable HO People Partner; including, tracking changes to the org, roles & responsibilities, workload, role profiles etc. This will take into account the S&M Business Case.
* To deliver all S&M Communications – Programme wide and locally by function dependent upon impact.
* To incorporate, oversee and align the planning and delivery of training needs for the S&M Programme, thru a direct report Training Lead.
* To work with the Business and the Service Introduction lead in preparing for business cutover and support before and immediately after Go Live.

This role will also line-manage, in a matrix, some the Product Owners on the S&M Programme. This role is for an HR professional who has worked in retail and is familiar with retail practices and processes.
