Wholesale & International Account Manager

Our head office, based in Whyteleafe, Caterham are looking for a fantastic addition to the International Team.

Summary of Key Activities:

* Brand ambassador for Ann Summers promoting the brand and product ranges to maximise current partner relationships to the highest levels.
* Supporting the Head of International in building new wholesale partnerships.
* Continually identifying new opportunities for wholesale partners to maximise sale and profit
* Assuring the orders from wholesale partners are placed in line with the core orders to ensure products availability
* Leading full account management of all wholesale accounts maximising volumes and in season buys.
* Acts as the key point of contact for wholesale partners for day to day operational matters;
* Leading budgeting and business review meetings with wholesale partners
* Ensuring brand representation with wholesalers is up to our brand standards
* Seeing all opportunities to trade over and above budgets with all partners.
* To deliver a commercial and balanced range by working with the partner budgets, phasing and product mix requirements.
* Product development and international exclusives in line with brand direction; working with buying teams to develop product to cater for different international requirements and fill gaps in the ranges.
* Leveraging merchandising team’s reporting to suggest additional in-season buys to maximise sales
* Compiling monthly detailed competitor reports highlighting new directions, opportunities and pricing.
* To effectively manage partner seasonal budgets demonstrating a pro-active approach to trade, identify and resolve lessons and flex partner’s intake accordingly.
* To manage profit performance through limiting risk, potentialising profit and managing departmental sales performance
* To implement best practice into team to deliver maximum output and offering partners great levels of service
* To manage relationships with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure partner product requirements are met
* To understand the Ann Summers buying cycles and to influence product to meet and exceed wholesale requirements
* Work closely with Buying to arrange and prepare for buying meetings with wholesale partners.
* Understand the buying product life cycle to manage the critical path between partners and Ann Summers own cp.
* Work closely with the wholesale and buying teams to prepare image packs of product to send to each wholesale partner, tailoring to each specific wholesaler to meet their customer requirements.
* Identify gaps in the ranges through sales and data analysis. Understand what is under and over performing and react to this.
* To work effectively with Merchandisers to drive Wholesale accounts, focusing on meeting partner requirements whilst planning and developing for the future
* Build relationships across the Ann Summers business functions and other Brands to ensure best practices are met and maintained

Desired Skills and Experience:

* Currently working in a Wholesale environment for a fashion retailer
* Ideally with a background in Buying / Product development
* Understanding and management of critical path.
* Have proven success at managing Wholesale relationships
* Have an established track record of driving business forward
* Be able to demonstrate pro-activity in sourcing new ideas and inspiration
* Possess excellent commercial awareness and ability to drive profit
* Demonstrate good analytical skills, excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
* Display excellent inter-personal and presentation skills
* Have experience of working as part of a fast paced team as well as an ability to work independently.
* Can perform under pressure, multi task and operate in a fast past environment
* Understands the importance of prioritising and managing expectations
