Summary of Key Activities:

1 Prepare information, produce and run monthly payrolls for the UK and Southern Ireland, ensuring information is input onto the system correctly and reports are produced timely and accurately.
2 Assist in the maintenance of accurate holiday leave records so that the individual, departmental or Companywide attendance information can be produced on request at any time.
3 Administer all statutory leave arrangements to ensure that employees receive correct and timely information and payment where appropriate.
4 Deal with any issues of the payment and deductions from salaries in line with current legislation, ensuring that where appropriate these are brought to the attention of the Payroll & Benefits Manager.
5 Maintain and update salary information for all stores within your regions.
6 Answer appropriate correspondence under own initiative, ensuring adherence to the quality standards of the department at all times.
7 Assist the Senior Payroll Officer in the production of the end of month reporting and third party payments.
8 Undertake any other administrative duties within the department that is requested by the Senior Payroll Officer to aid the performance of the department.
9 To carry out the duties above in a manner that complies with the Health & Safety at Work Legislation. That is to work safely and with due regard to the health, safety and welfare of both yourself and of any other employee within the company.
10 To support the Senior Payroll Officer in training of new employees.
11 Liase with Colleague Relations in regards to store related issues.
